My Journey

as a dreaming girl from nurse to freelance photographer and instructor , started with a passion for creativity and freedom.

As a little girl I always wanted to help people and loved watching programs about hospitals. I spent a lot of time in the library, leafing through fashion magazines and admiring the photos without reading the texts. I dreamed of being both in front of and behind the camera. My first real experience with photography was when my mother allowed me to borrow an analog camera for a school trip to Paris at the age of 16. Although I loved it, I ultimately did not choose to study photography because those around me disapproved.

Instead, I chose to study nursing because I was interested in the human body, diseases and treatments. I enjoyed the interaction with patients and colleagues and found every day in the cardiology department fascinating and educational. The heart fascinated me, and I learned to deal with stressful situations and emergencies.

Over time I met my husband, who also loves photography. His enthusiasm touched me and he gave me a digital camera as a gift. We took a lot of photos together and I discovered my love for portrait photography. With encouragement from friends and family, I decided to take photography more seriously. I started photographing weddings alongside my intensive job as a nurse and eventually registered with the Chamber of Commerce in Rotterdam to start my own business.

After 15 years in healthcare, I could no longer express my creativity in my work. During the Covid period I became ill and realized that I had to make a choice. I wanted to continue as an entrepreneur and focused entirely on my photography business. I worked on my mindset and meditated a lot to transform the negativity into positivity. This is how I found the courage to follow my passion and choose my own path as a photographer and videographer, also as an entrepreneur. Now I focus on enterprising women and brands who want to stand in their strength and shine as experts in their field. With joy and pleasure in everything I do, I create positive and lasting impressions. My smile is my signature!

Ultimately, I have been an entrepreneur for 5 years and I have been able to manifest a lot, from my own photo studio to a training location.

In addition, with my knowledge as a nurse, I founded a foundation ÖzVeld Life support to teach society to act confidently in life-saving training such as resuscitation of adults, babies and children. This is where I make the difference as an instructor with a medical background.

I have also created a great team of powerful women that I can work with. Above all, I can be myself!

My dream is to work for various fashion magazines that inspire me, such as Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. I also want to work with brands that attract their customers through storytelling in their campaigns. In addition, I want to let powerful women shine by helping them radiate their own brand for the customers they want to attract. My goal is to contribute to inspiring stories and strong visual identities for both magazines and ambitious brands and entrepreneurs with my photography and videography.
